The Power of Your Donation

For the entire month of December, our Adelante Board of Directors has generously offered to match your gift! They will match up to $50,000 in donations total, so give today to help us reach more women with microfinance, education, and opportunity! Through grassroots development they will create positive change for their families, communities, and the next generation of Hondurans.

Remember that your donation provides hope and opportunity to thousands of women in Honduras. They do not want your charity, just a chance. A chance to work so they can earn income they would not otherwise have had a chance of earning.  By donating to Adelante, you are helping empower women to make positive changes in their lives.  One woman’s success inspires many more with the confidence to transform their lives through microfinance and education.

"At first, I was nervous to take out a loan but now I'm not afraid because I know I can handle it with Adelante." Gloria is shown above with her three month old granddaughter, who now attends assembly meetings with her. Gloria sells tortillas in her house and hopes to receive another loan in order to buy a machine which would allow her to make tortillas faster to meet the high demand. She has had four loans with Adelante so far.
