Adelante's primary method for raising funds has been supporters hosting fundraising events at their homes or at a restaurant. It doesn't need to be a lot of work and it is a lot of fun. There are two ways to hold an event:

Be the Host and the Speaker
Remember the saying, "The best way to learn something is to teach it?" Here is your opportunity. You supply the food and guests and we will send you a Presentation Pack that contains all the materials you need to speak knowledgeably about Adelante. The pack will contain:

1. A 15-minute documentary about Adelante on DVD and/or a PowerPoint slide presentation. The slide presentation will contain slide by slide speaker notes.
2. A list of questions you can expect to be asked and their answers (so you look very sharp and on top of it)
3. Donation forms
4. Brochures
5. Invitations
6. A guide with suggestions about how to host an event.

Be the Host and Invite Adelante’s Founder and Chairman
to be the Speaker
Tony Stone founded Adelante and splits his time between Honduras and his home in California. He is funny and gregarious, and speaks passionately about the cause to which he has devoted much of his adult life. He will be pleased to come to your home to make a presentation. He has spoken at dozens of fundraisers and can tell stories that will delight and inspire your guests.
