Host a Socially Responsible Dinner Party
Gather your friends and family together for an evening filled with fun, delicious Honduran food, and the opportunity to share your passion for a cause you believe in. Adelante's primary method for raising funds has been to have supporters host fundraising events in their homes.

All you have to do is supply the food and guests and we will send you a presentation pack that contains all the material you need to speak knowledgeably about Adelante. • DVD (15 minutes) to play during the party
• Honduran recipe sheets
• Brochures and FAQs

• $1 A DAY ask form with return address envelopes
• How to host a party sheet

Other Fundraising Ideas:

• Sign up for a walk, run, marathon or other event, and dedicate your sponsorship to Adelante
• Instead of receiving material gifts from your loved ones for a special event in your life (wedding, birthday party for example), ask guests to donate to Adelante
• Give a talk at your school, college, workplace or community group about Adelante
• Use the internet to bring awareness to Adelante via social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, blogs, and email
• When fundraising, make the most of your contacts and get your friends, family, co-workers, and community members involved, and visit each social meeting place in your life, such as your place of worship, gym, community center, language class, etc… to garner support for Adelante
• If you raise money at your workplace, remember to ask if your company has a corporate giving policy in order to see if they can match the gifts their employees have made
