WHO IS ADELANTE

60% of Honduras lives below the poverty line, which makes Honduras the second poorest country in Central America. Of this population, women are among the most vulnerable groups. They are challenged daily by food insecurity, health problems,  primarily due to low household income. By providing a small business loan and education, we are able to change the path for generations to come and provide an opportunity to the women of Honduras.
